Cat Passport favorites and last-visit dates stay in this browser. Sharing a passport publishes the selected cat IDs in its link. It never includes a wallet or contribution receipt.

Optional launch measurement

Help us understand whether visitors find their cats. Measurement is off until you enable it. We count page views, searches and searches with no results, saved cats, return visits, and technical errors. Search text, wallet addresses, contribution text, and contact details are never sent to this measurement service.

A random browser identifier is converted into a different hash each day. Raw identifiers are not stored on the server. Counts and daily hashes are retained for at most 90 days. Do Not Track disables collection. These are directional launch signals, not audited audience figures.

Contributions and payment receipts

Submission details and optional contact information are private to the operator and anyone holding that submission’s secret receipt. Approved text and the public credit you allow may be published. Never include passwords, seed phrases, private keys, or sensitive personal information. Keep private receipts out of public posts.

Transaction IDs and blockchain transfers are public by nature. Payment details are retained for reconciliation and dispute handling. Contact us through the contribution form with your receipt ID to request correction or deletion of private contribution data; public blockchain history cannot be deleted by KYC.

Hosting and outside sources

Our hosting provider processes network requests and security logs. Temporary rate-limit records use hashed network identifiers and expire after their rate-limit window. Project portraits may load from external image hosts, which receive ordinary browser requests. External source links follow those sites’ own policies.
