Submitting and listing a cat is free. No payment or $KYC holding is required. The optional $100 fee is only for a sponsored feature.
Editorial independence
Editorial selection is a cultural coverage choice. Market-cap ordering uses available provider data. Sponsored placements occupy a separate, clearly labeled area. Neither payments nor holdings change an entry’s factual status or organic ordering.
The $100 feature fee
A featured placement costs exactly $100 USD worth of $KYC, assessed against the configured historical USD price at transaction time. The configured duration appears before payment. The quote expires; movement beyond the displayed tolerance requires operator resolution. The default tolerance is zero basis points, with amounts rounded to the nearest USD cent. Network transaction fees are separate.
Payment purchases sponsored visibility. It does not purchase verification, endorsement, safety approval, an editorial ranking, or an investment recommendation. Content review checks suitability for the placement; it does not audit a token. Payment controls remain unavailable until the actual mint, treasury, chain/network, price service, and duration are configured.
Identity, projects, and deployments
A recognizable meme is not proof of an official token relationship. KYC stores the cat identity, token project, and chain deployments separately. “Address matched to project source” describes that exact source comparison only. A project’s own claims are attributed; research gaps remain visible.
$KYC and conflicts
$KYC is the token associated with this site’s brand and proposed feature fee. The site’s operator has an economic interest in feature revenue and use of $KYC. Buying or holding it is not required for the registry, lore, quiz, or local passport, and does not imply ownership of a basket of listed cats. No additional team holdings have been supplied for disclosure.
Market coverage
Provider estimates can be incomplete or stale. Pair-level liquidity and volume are separate from token-level metrics. FDV is not circulating market capitalization. We show sources and retrieval times, and preserve unavailable figures as missing.
Sources, portraits, and local data
Cat portraits belong to their respective creators or projects and are credited through each record’s source list. Inclusion does not imply endorsement by the creator. A project’s own license does not establish KYC’s sublicense. The KYC logo was reconstructed from the supplied brand reference. Cat Passports are device-local; submissions and payment evidence are stored by the service. Optional contact details and referral information are not displayed in sponsored cards.
Novelty KYC
The cat-identification quiz is entertainment. Results and share cards are novelty knowledge badges, not real identity checks, credentials, token audits, or financial advice. Shared quiz scores are self-reported.
